Zaachariaha Fielding (b. 1991, in Port Augusta, Australia) is an Adelaide-based multi-disciplinary who hails from Mimili community on the APY Lands in far north South Australia.
In 2020 Zaachariaha joined the APY Art Centre Collective’s Adelaide Studio and developed a newfound commitment to his visual arts practice. Zaachariaha comes from a long line of multi-disciplinary artists and after a successful music career over the last decade, most notably as one half of the duo Electric Fields, he is now exploring the visual language of his culture through painting.
Since beginning his visual arts practice, Zaachariaha has undertaken several successful solo exhibitions and was featured as a finalist in the 2021 NATSIAAs and 2021 and 2023 Ramsay Art Prize. In 2023 Zaachariaha was the winner of the Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Zaachariaha Fielding (geb. 1991, in Port Augusta, Australia) ist ein in Adelaide ansässiger multidisziplinäre*r Künstler*in aus der Mimili-Gemeinde in den APY Lands im äußersten Norden Südaustraliens.
Im Jahr 2020 trat Zaachariaha dem APY Art Centre Collective’s Adelaide Studio bei und entwickelte ein neues Engagement für die eigene visuelle Kunstpraxis. Zaachariaha entstammt einer langen Reihe von multidisziplinären Künstler*innen. Nach einer erfolgreichen Musikkarriere im letzten Jahrzehnt, vor allem als eine Hälfte des Synth-Pop-Duos Electric Fields, erforscht Zaachariaha nun die visuelle Sprache seiner Kultur durch Malerei.
Seit Beginn der künstlerischen Tätigkeit hat Zaachariaha mehrere erfolgreiche Einzelausstellungen durchgeführt und war Finalist*in bei den NATSIAAs 2021 sowie beim Ramsay Art Prize 2021 und 2023. Im Jahr 2023 gewann Zaachariaha den Wynne Prize der Art Gallery of New South Wales.
