What Remains Between Us vereint sieben künstlerische Positionen, die sich mit den Spuren auseinandersetzen, die Begegnungen, Beziehungen und gemeinsame Erfahrungen in uns hinterlassen.

Menschen prägen einander – in Gesten, Blicken, Gesprächen und im gemeinsamen Erleben. Diese Prägungen können subtil sein oder sich als emotionale, gedankliche und räumliche Verschiebungen zeigen. Die Arbeiten der Ausstellung untersuchen, wie solche Verbindungen in uns nachhallen und Teil unseres Selbstverständnisses werden.

Zwischen Bild und Objekt, Material und Form zeichnen die Werke Prozesse von Erinnerung und Transformation nach. Sie machen sichtbar, dass Identität nicht isoliert entsteht, sondern im Austausch – im Echo des Anderen. Zwischen Intimität und Distanz entfaltet sich ein stiller Dialog, der dem oft Unsichtbaren eine Präsenz gibt.

What Remains Between Us lädt dazu ein, die feinen, manchmal kaum wahrnehmbaren Fäden zu erkunden, die uns miteinander verbinden – und das, was im Dazwischen bestehen bleibt.

What Remains Between Us brings together seven artistic positions that reflect on the traces left by encounters, relationships, and shared experiences.

People shape one another – through gestures, glances, conversations, and moments lived together. These imprints can be subtle or unfold as emotional, mental, and spatial shifts. The works in the exhibition explore how such connections continue to resonate within us and become part of how we understand ourselves.

Between image and object, material and form, the works trace memory and transformation. They suggest that identity does not emerge in isolation, but through exchange – in the echo of the other. Moving between intimacy and distance, the exhibition unfolds a quiet dialogue that gives presence to what often remains unseen.

What Remains Between Us is an invitation to look closer at the fragile, sometimes almost imperceptible threads that connect us – and at what lingers in the space between.
