„The series of works I present in  The Human Odyssesy covers the past two years and deals with themes of unity, connection, relationships, affect, and changing point of view. The figures I paint often blend in with the background, as I see the human being as an integral part of nature and not as an isolated entity. This vision of interconnectedness, for me, leads to harmony and happiness.
Through my works, I explore the dynamics of human relationships and their connection with their surroundings. At the center of my work is always the Human, represented in ways that offer a new vision of real unity and interconnectedness with the world. I use forms, colors and signs to express emotions, sensations, energies and ideas that are intangible and spiritual. My gestural painting, is my means of expressing this deep connection between everything.“

„The group entitled ‚Schreitende‘ are 93 different figures with the left leg always facing forward. It documents my changing mood over the course of a few weeks of work on it. I like some of them more, others less.
Nevertheless, I didn’t stop working until I had realized the intended 93, always new and subsequent, ’striding‘ figures with the same step. Later, when I observed them in different constellations, my favorites placed themselves quite differently in my ranking. But I always asked myself one question: ‚How did I make YOU?'“
